Getting There


The Annexe of the Benaki Museum is located at 138 Pireos Street. The building occupies an entire city block on the right-hand side of Pireos Street as you head down towards Piraeus, one block before the Serafio Swimming Pool, Sports and Cultural Centre. The main public entrance is on Andronikou Street.

Leave the station via the Thessalonikis Street exit. To reach the Annexe, walk down Ippothontidon Street, which leads straight onto Andronikou Street.

Cars and coaches can be left in free car parks in the surrounding area.

Accessibility


All areas of the Annexe are fully accessible, and adapted toilets are available.
Free entry for wheelchair users, and people with severe mobility difficulties, or with visual or hearing impairment.

Opening Hours


Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays: 10:00 - 18:00
Fridays, Saturdays: 10:00 - 22:00

The Shop and the Snack Bar-Restaurant operate during the opening hours of the Annexe.

The Annexe is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and on the following holidays:
25 March, 1 May, 15 August, 28 October, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, "Clean Monday" (the first day of Greek Orthodox Lent), and the Pentecost.

Please note that the following are not permitted:

  1. Smoking, and the consumption of food and drink in the exhibition spaces.
  2. Photography, with or without flash, and sound or video recording in the exhibition spaces.
